Serendipity

Well yesterday I attempted to install the Serendipity blogging software.  I’ll have to give it another shot from my desktop, as I was constrained for time and couldn’t get it to import the wordpress database.

I’ve setup a page on the site located here and am actively looking for volunteers.  I think we’re going to setup a separate IRC room and create a mailing list, and figure out what other ways we’ll all need to communicate.

Shmoocon 2008

Somehow I managed to snag a $150 open registration ticket.  The $75 tickets were all reserved in under a half second from the time the webserver hit 12:00:00 amazingly.  I had even synchronized my system’s clock to it, but alas, no dice.
